Bio
Leon Jones is 18, from the North of England. He writes indie-pop with pop-punk in it and a bit of R&B underneath, records it locally and releases it himself.
Single-parent household, no music-industry leg-up, day job paying for studio time. He's been writing and gigging for years and is putting together his first proper body of work now.
In 2025 he made the Top 16 of Netflix's The Next Act with Simon Cowell and flew out to Miami for the competition. Conversations followed, including ones that brushed Universal Music Germany, but nothing turned into the deal he wanted, so he kept releasing it himself.
Solo with an acoustic or fronting a full band, the songs play the same way: direct, a bit hopeful, the kind you put on twice.
